1. When you start dating and courting that beautiful lass, and you want to impress her and sweep her off her feet.
2. When you get married, it's once in a life time, so what the heck - go for the works and worry about the money later.
3. When you get your first home, it's just so exciting to have a place to call your own, might as well make it wonderful to stay in.
4. When your baby is coming and since it's your own flesh and blood, nothing but the very best will do.
I'm sure there's a lot more than this, especially for those car-crazy and gadget-obsessed people. But yea, the items above are some of my very own experiences - I can check the boxes of each one.
